About Sunil S V — software engineer building high-performance web tooling, creator of Native Form, and author writing about frontend performance and React architecture.

About Me

Hi there! I’m Sunil S V, a software engineer passionate about frontend architecture, browser performance, and building developer tools that solve real-world engineering bottlenecks.

I believe modern web applications have grown overly complex with excessive abstraction layers, and I love exploring ways to build faster, simpler, and more maintainable software by leveraging standard web platform capabilities.

🚀 Projects & Open Source

Native Form

A zero-overhead, HTML-first form runtime and validation engine for modern web apps (React, Next.js, and vanilla web).

  • Core thesis: Eliminates virtual DOM re-renders on every keystroke by observing native HTML5 DOM inputs directly via MutationObserver.
  • Features: Zero field registration boilerplate ({...register()} gone), typed coercion, and microscopic validation adapters for Zod, Valibot, and Yup.
  • Stack: TypeScript, React, Next.js, Vitest, Turborepo.

✍️ What I Write About

On this blog, you’ll find in-depth, practical articles focused on:

  • Frontend Architecture & Performance: Minimizing re-renders, bundle size optimization, and DOM internals.
  • Modern React & Next.js: StrictMode nuances, Server-Side Rendering (SSR), and state management patterns.
  • Open-Source Tooling: Lessons learned designing libraries, TypeScript API contracts, and packaging monorepos.
